SWIM SPAS

A swim spa is a hybrid between a swimming pool and a hot tub. It typically consists of a large tub with powerful jets at one end that create a current strong enough for swimming against. A swim spa setup typically includes the following components:

Swim spa vessel: This is the main structure, similar to a large tub, where users can swim against a current created by powerful jets.

Current system: Powerful jets are installed at one end of the swim spa to create a current for swimming against. The strength and speed of the current can usually be adjusted to accommodate different skill levels and swimming preferences.

Seating area: Many swim spas also feature seating areas equipped with hydrotherapy jets for relaxation and massage purposes. These seats are often positioned away from the current system.

Heater: A heater is used to warm the water in the swim spa to a comfortable temperature for swimming and relaxation, typically between 80-90°F (27-32°C).

Filtration system: Just like in a hot tub, a swim spa is equipped with a filtration system to remove debris and contaminants from the water, ensuring it remains clean and safe for use.

Control panel: A control panel allows users to adjust the temperature, current strength, and other settings of the swim spa.

Cover: A cover is used to retain heat when the swim spa is not in use and to keep debris out of the water.

Electrical connection: Swim spas require a dedicated electrical connection to power the heater, pump, jets, and other components.
